Prescription requests take 5 working days to process
We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone
All patients on repeat medication require regular reviews. The surgery will inform you when your review is due.
Non-urgent advice: Collecting your non EPS prescription (paper)
Please allow five full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
You can either collect your prescription from the surgery or from your chosen pharmacy. If your prescription is to be collected by a pharmacy please mark their name clearly on your prescription request.
Non-urgent advice: EPS prescriptions (Electronic)
Please allow five full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from. We call this nominating a pharmacy.
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time:
- on the NHS Wales App
- at the surgery
- at any pharmacy that accepts repeat prescriptions
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time but ALL repeat medications will go to the chosen pharmacy
Non-urgent advice: Questions about your prescription
If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions about medicines you can buy without a prescription.
The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
If you would like to speak to someone at the surgery about your prescription please contact us on 01633 251304 or e-mail enquiries.w93049@wales.nhs.uk
