Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Advanced Nurse Practitioners can treat a wide range of illness/conditions including: Prescribe medication, Refer for secondary care, Chronic illnesses, (Diabetes, CKD, Asthma etc), Viruses, ENT, Musculoskeletal problems. Please note ANPs cannot deal with Mental Health problems or pregnancy related problems.

Nurses

We have a dedicated team of practice Nurses who provide independent help and advice on many aspects of nursing and healthcare. As well as providing routine medical checks, they can offer healthy lifestyle advice including smoking cessation support. Our nurses have specialist expertise and knowledge in the following areas: Chronic Disease Management (diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disease), Cervical Cytology Screening, Travel Health, Immunisations, Wound care Management (dressings, removal of sutures etc.), Contraceptive Services, Ear Syringing.
